paint overspray

My new next door neighbor was painting something today out in his driveway. The over spray blew over on my truck. It's bad, Feels like sand paper. Does anyone know what will take it off ? He was using a exterior paint. I spoke with him about it and its all good. I just need to know what works the best.

eh..... light grade sandpaper then have it buffed out with some rubbing compound.... thats about all I can think of besides rubbing it out with a small amount of paint thinner... but dont rub to much with paint thinner it softens the truck pain too... any way it goes it will have to be buffed
