everytime i attempt to connect any n/u server i get a "error veryfiing steam id ticket" and i get disconnected. any1 know if it is on my end or the server end? and how do i fix it?

it's not NU, it's steam. log completely out of your steam account (not just close steam.) make sure you know your password first though ;p

If logging out and back in doesn't work, you can try deleting your clientregistry.blob file and it will make you redownload any recent updates. It's a good way to fix stupid little things like this.

Just an update on this, I am having the same issue. I have tried all the fixes (logging out, time fix, deleting .dll's, etc) and can still only randomly connect.

I can connect to almost any other server besides n/u servers but I get the error no matter what n/u server I try to join.

Additionally, I have had some of our GG regs tell me that they are having the same problem and that the fixes were not working for them and that they had to mplay other servers because of it. (and it's working fine on other servers for them as well)

give it a little -9.80m/s^2 out ur window.. usually fixes this problem
