Shoot Knifing

Just part of the game. "Queensbury Rules" dont always apply, the object is to win and not always the honorable way. You can just play whatever way you deem to be the best way to represent your game, sometimes it has to be considered unsavory.

One problem I see these days is the constant complaining about camping. Sometimes when you hear someone coming, you wait and knife them or shoot them; then come the complaints of camping. Look hiding and making rounds last longer than they should is camping and should not be compared to "tactically waiting around a corner to knife someone". So tired of someone always whinning about camping.

As for shoot knifing, it sucks, but it is a part of the game and the game is good.

Not to derail the post, but per our last Admin meeting. 15 Seconds in the same spot/select area = camping. If you pause for a few seconds, it's not camping....

That being said, "tactically waiting around a corner to knife someone" can easily be camping if you are "tactically waiting" for 1/2 the round...

15 seconds or longer = camping... otherwise your ok.

I don't think that this rule presents a lot of "gray area", but if this rule doesn't solve the issue of people camping and/or someone has an issue with the rule, bring it up to me, mama, organ, or smurf and let us know... The end in mind with making this rule has been to make the server more enjoyable by not only eliminating camping, but also eliminating the admin discretion portion in which one admin thinks 5 seconds is camping and others think 30 seconds is camping... Again, any feedback, positive or negative, would help to provide long term solutions to these issues.

hell i shoot knife too. :P when i knife that is. i run out of ammo to fast :P but its the game sorry bleu. thats just something we can not watch for all the time. if we did you being admin too. none of the admins would ever get to play we would be watching for all this lil bull shit stufff the whole time. sorry

simply put even thou it may suck when i play reg game or gg if i run outta ammo and am in a heated battle i'm gonna switdch quickly to another gun if i ca or knife and hope i don't die cause by the time ya reload your dead thats how most ppl die in battle they run out of ammo and while reloading the other guy is still wailing him thats why ya reload between battles and not in em

but ya no adminwould ever get to play if they watched out for this " petty bullshit " and besides it would be to hard to catch and too many differnt perpestives of what it is between all the admins ( way to much gray area to really tell the difference )

so i say let it be and deal with it or find a new game

Because it's in the rules. Camping impedes the game for others; shoot-knifing is a strategy that is acceptable and in no way a violation of N|U rules. If people want to knife then tell them to have at it, but don't expect others to follow suit. Being as drink, ice, and cannon have spoken their two cents this thread has come to an end.
