The reason i first joined NU? Deathmatch. =P
Deathmatch was all i used to play (burned out on everything else). I love the random respawn. When i feel like a change, i'll hit up NS's DM, but that's more for friends over there then anything else. ^_^
I'm not saying CAL maps are the future of DM, or that it will help our CAL team greatly. Just maybe try some out, to appease some of the masses. If it sticks and ppl like it, awesome. If not, then there will always be others. O and i do love the variation of inferno.
Fixed spawn? No thanks.Spawn protection is fine for a fixed spawn DM, but random spawn w/spawn protection is shit. Nothing more infuriating then having some n00b spawn right in front of you and you can't do anything about it... boils my blood. =P
