    I'll try that ender, but I had a ram error in the past, and my dell has the 4 diagnostic lights in the front that will tell you what's wrong with the computer, and now none of the lights turn on, not even the lighting on the front of the computer.

    eh..... sounds kinda like what my dell done a couple weeks ago
    just curious... what dell is it?

    That right there says its a faulty motherboard. I had a dell dimension 8300 once that did that. Nothing would come on. Replaced PSU, Memory, and gfx card. After I replaced the mobo it worked again.
