theres this guy that plays the role play server and robs alot of people such as me for 70k. he says he wants a ban so im just wondering if you can ban him.

Scamming is not against server rules. I don't know how to make a new system to avoid scams. But IRL you get scammed when you send money to the Nigerians so I think it should be in the game. But, you can let cops arrest people and fine them like a lot of money for scamming. Maybe I'll make a court room in City Hall so cops can put them on trial or something lol.

Cops should not kill people for scams though, only arrest. (Unless of course they resist with guns...)

so....lets say.... somebody new has been playing in our server for about a week now, and they finally got enough money to buy an interceptor, somebody tells them they have one for sale for cheap, like 20 or 30k cheaper than store price. So they go and trade them, what if they trade them and all their hard earned money is all of a sudden gone due to somebody not trading fairly? Theres nothing that can be done? im sorry, but if this was to happen to me, i'd be pissed, because most of the time, i dont use money printers, and it takes a good amount of time to add that cash up and be able to buy items w/ it.

People need to use common sense. Don't buy it if they don't show you it first. Maybe have cops facilitate the deal. I guess I'll make a rule no scamming of more than $10,000.00 if that seems fair. But IRL people get scammed all the time.

just the thing is he did show me the car like 3 yards away and i ran to it and right before i got into it he left the game and i just got scammed i mean i have a intercepter now with a few other cars but i would have another good car if i didnt get scammed

see this is the type of plugin that we need, to prevent playing from loggin in the middle of a trade. I for one believe in creating a pawn shop that buys/sells/trades any and all used items from players to prevent players from scamming. This whole scamming thing is getting outa hand. And nat, you say its like real life, but in real life, nobody has EVER tried to scam me b4, except this one time ona bag of weed, but i got my money back.


and in real ife, if i was to buy a car, if somebody tried to scam me, i could call the cops and they would go to jail for a while (and i mean a while) and still get my money or compensation.

Well before this happened I put it in the server rules and the MotD that you can't scam for cars so this kid deserves a ban. If you tell me his Steam I'll take the car away from him too.

Scamming is allowed but it can't be for more than $10,000.00 because it sucks. You may never scam someone for a car. Also, you can scam for weapons but only one at a time.

well if anything than maybe nat can put it in the motd for you guys and make it a rule
so if people do scam than they get into trouble.people get scammed in real life all the time and most of the time nothing can get done about it cause thier isn't real proof that you was scammed. here is a thought how about no trading in the server this will stop all of it let people just earn thier stuff with out a choice to trade and if they want to trade than let them trade it to the server.just my idea thats all
