If you don't know by now, the RP server is up and running. However, due to the new update, there are several bugs and issues. I've created this thread in hopes of getting feedback from the community. Please post any ideas, suggestions, and/or problems that you have encountered in the server. Please be as descriptive as possible.

We are already aware that the car menu is not available, and will continue to be so until the rally mod plugin is updated for the new orangebox engine.

Well I went in the server and notice some glitches/problems!

1. Who ever becomes Mayor gets kicked from the server.

2. The minute the round start everyone gets disarmed and console will disarm people every time they holster an item.
ex: [SM] Console disarmed player $Ace$
[SM] Console disarmed player {RDG}w0mB@T
[SM] Console disarmed player Dj Not Nice

3. Console is also healing people as well.
ex: [SM] Console set health of player $Ace$ to 100

4. No one has a knife when they use !class to respawn and the only people that do is the people who !zspawns, but until they holster an item console disarms them.

That all i notice for today, so I'll keep an eye out for any more shit going on.

also the the storge menu is not working right the class well work when u reset the map then after a few runds it quits working and peole are losing there money and weapons when they logg off taht all i seen so far

ok there some more problems the t are now spawing in the goverment building now, the gun menu is still not working right ,the holster ur wepons is not working now,half of the players when they spawn can not be killed by a knife and they are glitch where u can walk threw them the only way to kill them is he shoot them and also there is a glitch where u can not see u weapons and knife at all that all i found so far.

Maybe the teams got switched somehow. I really need to re-think the whole class plugin because it handles all of those things. Does the !class command still break every now and then? I fixed a lot of minor stuff over the last 4 days but obviously some major things are wrong with the plugin.

yes the !class does break time to time.

Also, somehow a lot of people including myself has no inventory at all and all it says "inventory is full" and I cannot get any weapons.

Some of the doors in the government building cannot be locked/unlocked. For example, skinny and I could not lock the front doors of the government building when we were cops.

When theirs a lot of people on, they tend to get stuck together and they have to either rejoin or kill each other.

Im pretty sure there are others that I cant remember but skinny got some of what I was going to say. Also, the AFK timer thingy is annoying. for example, I go to take a piss, I get kicked, I go to get some food, I get kicked.

Okay making a to-do list here...

- Up AFK Timer to 15 Minutes
- Release Beta 03 (compiling today) -- This will solve the door problems.
- Add more spawns
- Work on full inventory problem

The full inventory thing is weird. I think maybe it's deleting all of your items or something but keeping slots at 0. I'll look this helps though that now I made it say when it's full because that means the menu has nothing wrong with it, so it's something else.

As skinnyminiman said, some people cannot be hit with a knife, and some people can spawn in the government building. This glitch is actually VERY easy to do. When the round ends all you have to do is stand still and make NO MOVEMENT at all. Then you will spawn in the SAME EXCAT spot the next round. So anybody can spawn ANYWHERE its just where you are when the round ends and depending if you are standing still or not.

so
round ends + standing still = glitch mode
round ends + moving = no glitch mode

Also, I have found that sometimes when the round starts it will give you $3000 like in a normal game of css. I'm not really sure if you wanted it this way nat but i'm just saying.

I did a lot of changes to the sm_classes plugin. It should lag a little bit less. Tell me if you see anything screwy happening with it. I'm also updating the map now.

I dunno if this still happens since you have changed the class plugin nat.... but before it wouldnt let me choose anything other than citizen.... If I died I would spawn as a citizen and then it would tell me I couldnt choose a class right now when I tried to change. sometimes it would take several minutes before I could choose a different class....

I think it's working now.

Also, you have to stand still for a couple seconds to put your guns away. This has cut down on random violence a LOT.

I updated the MotD:

• Class list now has a male rogue picture and reflects that female rogue leader and female renegade leader are the female rogue and female renegade respectively.

• How to Play now says that the Car Menu is disabled.

I've been trying to get someone to throw together a Rally Race fix so that we can get cars up but we still don't have 100% functionality. (You can enter a car but screen goes black. Engine noises work though.)

I'm also going to look at starting a program where players might be able to get themselves skinned for RP but I don't know how it would work yet.

haha just like an old server i used to play on gmod we could reskin a vehicle or our player model to our own it was really cool.
