                              It's not too bad for using paint.

                              You should try out Gimp for image editing. It's free to download, and has a lot more power/functionality. It'll let you import images and adjust the transparency so you don't have unwanted backgrounds and artifacts.

                                              Paintdotnet is also a good program. Its like photoshop, backed by a huge community of plugins. Its likea photoshop knockoff.

                                              Nice start, just from my pov, the NU logo looks a tad tacky since its not blended.
