no computer
i have to send my computer into HP for some warranty repairs , ill be W/O it for around 2-3 weeks, i was wondering if there was a way i could back up all my admin binds and the new options screen sio made....??any ideas cause when i get it back its going to be totally wiped with factory settings, im backing up all my movies,music and games right now on a external drive, so im just wondering if this was possible , is there anything in my game folders i can copy and past on my back up drive? and then re add once steam is installed again?

If you backup everything including your game files (such as steam directory folders etc.) it should keep all the current binds as they are in the files that are inside your steam folder(s).

Back up your config file. All your binds are in there. Saving the whole cstrike folder might be a little much, but also a good idea.[COLOR="RoyalBlue"][B]N/U Retiree[/B]

hp doesnt give a shit about yur files they just restore everything and put another load of trailwares on........... all i did was copy the basic stuff like models and sounds and all that good stuff, and i still kept my binds, i think binds are in the scripts so make sure yu get that, buh if yu wanna just copy the whole folder it will work too just not as efficent as an azn would do yah mean?±‡†`'*^~-., ,.-~^*'´†‡±
