Update to steam and I cannot join server

    Update to steam and I cannot join server

    I had to update steam today. Now whenever I try to join the servers i get this:

    Network: IP 192.168.1.8, mode MP, dedicated No, ports 27015 SV / 27005 CL
    Connecting to 74.86.102.230:27015...
    Invalid Steam key size.
    Connecting to 74.86.102.230:27015...
    Invalid Steam key size.

    That was multiple attempts. What does an Invalid steam key size refer to?

      Counter strike was updated, maybe that has something to do. Im guessing the servers have to update too, give it some time :P. Im not really sure tho....

          u uppdated the wrong steam........hahaha jk we update faster then the servers it takes a server longer to update then you

              I'm getting the same message:

              Invalid Steam key size.


              Any resolution yet?

                  Well the only resolution for the people who updated is to play

                  The Role Play Server: 74.86.117.156:27018

                  or

                  The Office Unlimited Server: 74.86.117.157:27018

                  & for the people who have the the crack version of CSS,

                  The Zombie Mod Server: 74.86.102.230:27015

                  Those are the only two servers in our community that the people who updated can play in but thats all i know for now. Except for ZM those are for the people with crack version of Css.....
                  Lucky Bastards gets to play ZM
                  Until then please be patient and wait for the Owners or Dev Team to fix what ever needs fixing.

                      All of our servers are up-to-date, save zombie mod (still waiting for them to release an updated version that is compatible with the new orangebox engine). What server(s) are you having trouble connecting to?

                          Close steam, delete clientregistry.blob found in programfiles/steam/
                          Start steam,
                          verify Game cache.
                          Should be good to go.
