Some time ago I read a post where somebody had their computer fry on them and after installing on a new system their rank on the GG server had reset, and if I remember correctly they were told that the files that have that info in them are kept on the persons computer and not the server.
Why I bring this up is I've recently put together my new system and was just curious if there is a need to transfer any counter strike files from my old computer to my new one. Any help will be much appreciated, although I took 3 months off from CS during summer break due to our crappy internet back home so my rank may not be very good now anyways
