    What would you do with 500 Billion $?

    Some of the things that I would do is spend some of it on space tech advancements, weapons developement, investments, and just for the fun of it Mobile Suits as seen below.

                      Not really. If a breakthrough is made either with fusion power or anti-matter generation and collection, it will be there. Alternatively, if a nuclear reactor could be made small enough to fit in there it might be a good power source.
