    Advice please !

For any of you PC nerds out there. I have a Asus Crosshair Motherboard AM2. I was reading some forums about upgrading the Bios to a newer version thats supports the Phenom CPUs. Has anyone ever done that before to there rig ? I know theres a RISK of frying my mobo. But oh well i guess its worth a shot and several people have done it with success.

    My Rig

    Asus crosshair 590 sli
    4 gigs memory 800 mhz
    Amd cpu 6400 3.2 B.E.
    twin 9800 gtx sli
    150Gb Raptor X H-D
    1000 watt psu
    900 case all air cooling
Carry your last name, Don't let it carry you !

If you use the official bios upgrades there is no risk. Bios is made to be upgraded/flashed.
