Votemap and Camping Issues!

I say we remove votemap. There are certain people abusing it. After a map change, the count does not reset. so after awhile some maps will have like 10 out of 7 votes. So it only takes one cry baby that doesnt like the current map to randomly change it. I'm also tired of the constant bitching about rates, camping, or the map issue. When I do my job and place a map vote or slay/kick campers I get bitched at. For instance, changing the map when like 75+% of people want to, I get "WTF! I hate this map" but yet they voted yes on a new map. OR when I slay a camper, they cry "I was reloading" or "Wtf I was moving around". I fucking at-wits-end with this shit. Jr. Owners need to step to the plate and help.

they have a 15 sec camp in gg, and not everyone votes on the same map. so maybe they really do hate that map. and we Jr. Owners are looking into if you have a problem with us. talk to us personally don't assume that we are not doing anything about this crap.

Please Sio. GG is fun to play, but it's easily ruined by the constant bitching about camping, maps, and knifing.

wtf..... votemap is a good thing, it just needs to reset every map like I said before! its not reseting so the votes just keep carrying over thats why thats happening rey... and Im pretty sure we all agreed in our meeting that admins wouldnt change maps anymore we let them rtv (or votemap now) off of them.... and as far as camping goes if they are sitting still for 15 seconds or have their ass planted in a blind spot, well the regs know the rule so let them whine rules are rules and we all have to follow them... personally.... this is just starting to get old Im about sick of the bickering all the time

I've gotta agree with Smurf, if the regs are camping.. then make them not camp, it's our job. If they want to camp constantly (like some regs in the server) then they are going to bitch, but they learn the rules or deal with it. The Jr. Owners and Owners shouldn't need to be there specifically to handle this kind of issue (unless they are already in the server). I'd question wtf if an admin grabbed me because someone kept camping...
The rules are in place, we just discussed them at the last admin meeting less than a month ago, its our Jobs to enforce the rules with the end in mind of making gameplay better. (i.e. - smack around the retards for the greater good).

Here is the deal, we need a votemap / rtv in the server. If this gets taken completely away, it will greatly impact the quality of the server. The requested change was that it isn't so easy to play the same maps repetitvely. Sio has been working on that, thank you Sio, and we are trying to get the small stuff tweaked out as to make the server more enjoyable. This is the right thing to do and I know that all the admins and most of the regs would and have agreed.
Also, Map changes, this is an issue that is directly relating to the previous issue. This won't be an issue once the votemap thing gets tweaked.

I guess the bottom line is... were admins, we enforce the rules and help to make it an enjoyable place to play. If there are people in the servers that are being dicks, then handle it or if you feel that you can't then let a Jr. Owner or owner know. I'll talk to anyone in the server that is being a repetitive bitch.

The whole thing is getting rediculous. If someone is camping, warn them, slay them, and if they continue to be a bitch, then talk to them and/or give them a short ban. The rules are there to make the server fun, if they don't like the rules and/or think they are unfair, then have them talk to a jr. owner / owner or come to the boards.

I don't understand where Sio needs to come and straighten anything out, if the issue is an admin getting tired of being bitched at by the regs that camp constently. Is there an issue with a owner / jr. owner not doing their job? I'd say absolutly not. Just be consistant and enforce the rules and this wont be an issue. Sorry, this is getting old, consistently enforce the rules and this wont be an issue.

I do slap them and let them know they are camping. I kick them, I mute them when they bitch. I just wanna play for at least 5 mins without someone camping then hearing someone whine about it. One of the biggest campers I know is an admin. Im not mentioning names. I've told him many of times not to camp and he says "Camping is part of the game." I will need to talk to either Drink, Mama, or Organ about this.

And the map issue, I ALWAYS have a vote before I change it. The vote usually goes "New Map? Yes or No". Majority of the time is 75+% Yes. Then I make another vote with various maps that players would like to play. Then the one with the most votes wins. I still get complaints. And I've told the regs/players, if they have an issue with me or any other admin to talk to a Jr. Owner.

Finally this will be my last month as an admin because funds are running low here. But I will continue to play.

if they dont ask for a map change then dont ask for one. thats when a lot of trouble starts. just becasue an adnim wants a new map does not mean that they have to vote for a new one. and as for the camper. he/she too needs to follow that rule regardless maps are not camping maps, and if he/she keeps it then they will be dealt with so p.m. me drink or organ so we can talk to them as far as the regs go. you are an admin first (pasties and siosios never got to paly either for the longest time. thats why they have us.) you need (as all admins) to keep the server happy. when dead get rid of the issues at hand. its gg, people die really fast. its not hard to handle them.
and i have not been on because my grandma got really sick and i have been taking care of her. so sorry that i have not been in game. but most regs have my number if im needed and all gg admins have it to. i check daily on my server and the issues. so now if its an issue with me you have email me and we will talk.
