How to beef up the mini game server

Now that I have made admin a, and i also am intrigued in the mini-game style of server, I would be interested in being admin on this server also. But I do have one concern, 20 hours a day, the server is empty. Are mini-games not that interesting to draw more people to it? Or what can we/I do to help the mini-game server to attract more players. I have noticed another SG mini game server always packed like our zm server and office and dust maps. But I feel that n/u's mini game server could be so much better than what it is. So let me know what we need to do to help the mini game server carry more weight, than an empty server.

It used to be really popular. I suppose it died down when lots of regs started leaving for other servers/personal reasons.

SG's server is maintained by a Mini-Game fanatic name Paul.

But the mini-games server was fine, when some servers were closed down, mini game went with them for some reason. We managed to get it back open, but most players moved on.

Handi, ok here's the deal. Mini Games, it attracts mostly kids, it used to be VERY popular, but thats because it always had admins on to start it up on a daily basis such as dot and nadia and so on... It still gets players in it, we just need to geta few people to start it up and it will be jumpin. I went in yesterday or the day b4 when it had like 6 players in it, there was one admin excluding myself and about 5 kids, and when i say kids, i mean KIDS lol. They all had to be around 5-10 of age, like no lie and constantly bitching and complaining, I did not mute them though concidering its not that populated anymore and it needs all the help it can get, But because of the attraction of kids older players dont like to play in there. I do agree, minigames is a childish server, but it is very fun and very intertaining to play. So yeah, if you wanted to get admin in minigames, i give u a thumbs up on that. I will try and play it more than I have been, I ALWAYS jump in if i see (2) or more players playing. And with more admins playing means that we get more players playing.

So to answer your question, all u would have to do is simply play and that helps get it pumpin. And being an admin, you get the cool skins and access to the admin sounds for those "awkward silence" moments lol

yes give me time i still working on new maps and things and soon as all the bugs are worked out i well get it up and running again but it well take time again but trust me i well get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i absolutely love this server...im a 26 yr old kid and will continue playing there whenever we get a group to start it up same way with crackhouse and stuff

ditto? chuckle. i love the server and always try to jump in when i see some ppl, but it's rare. if you ever want to try and get it started, let me know in steam chat and i'll gladly jump in there to try and get it going. i think that's the big issue, is the lack of communication. going back to an old suggestion of mine, i think it'd be nice to focus on different servers each day. meaning, you'd have to have some admin who would be ok with going to a particular server each day and try to get as many people there as they could all day. that way, we get it fuller so more people will join anyway and save it to their favorites; and we get ppl to actually try them out. so it would be kind of like a rotation thing. i'd be glad to get this set up if people would actually follow it.

I'm game anytime you see me on, if im not busy (even if i am busy) i'll at least hang out in spec and try to get ppl in that way..trying to spend more time in ZM at the moment where getting that server squared away...

But if its my day off or something and im doing house/yard work i can always just afk in spec

spec ppl actually help a lot. gets a lot of ppl to join who think there's more ppl playing than there really are. but that's only good to try and get the server going each day. what else could we do to increase traffic in the servers?
