i got up to 60k this past week and then i spent it on awps..i mean 65k then over the course of the day i lost dem because i totally suck at hitting bind for holster_p...but i got a few back along with other guns when the Rogues and Renegades lay seige to the Mayors building

Today I tried converting the Lada so it could get brake lights. But I'm having a weird problem:











As you can see, the left wheels float off of the ground. Until this gets resolved the car will just be an error sign for everyone so use a different car.

that and the jeep is invisible for me, i tried downloading the skins from the download section, still invisible though, which is y i never drive them lol

Guys I made some changes to car_menu this morning -- tell me if it still glitches and crap. Most of it was stuff behind the scenes which y'all can't see, but I also made a change to it where if the map changes and your car is spawned, it won't matter anymore. But yea the stupid Steam ID error, tell me if that goes away, and if it actually spawns the right cars now. Basically if anything fucks up today make a post here.

Okay because of the glitching and stuff of everything I'm officially converting the whole thing to use MySQL instead of the KeyValue files that are currently being used to store player data (cars, guns, money, etc...) so that the server will operate better.

What this means for you:

• Eventually everyone's stats for everything will be deleted. Sorry. But then again the constant glitching and stuff has caused people to get things they didn't actually earn//buy so if it's all the same this will be like wiping the slate clean for everyone to start anew.

• Cars and Items shouldn't glitch like they do now.

• Better admin accessibility. I'll let the higher up admins have the ability to do things like give players cars in case of a glitch, delete their item inventory, or reset their bank account along with like > 9000 other things. Basically if something gets messed up the higher up admins will be able to fix it instead of waiting a week for me to shut down all the plugins on the server for 10 minutes just to fix someone's missing car.

• Better rule enforcement. With increased admin power comes better rule enforcement. Cheaters won't be able to get away so easily with things like afk detector evasion.

When will this happen?
No idea. Hopefully soon? It all depends on how long it takes me to get the databases set up. (This will require three.) I'm starting this with the item pack plugin. It's database has already been formed and the plugin registers players with it every time someone new joins the server for the first time. It doesn't do much else though so if it says you have some random amount of slots which you don't actually have, don't be worried it won't affect anything. But the point is that I got it initialized, so now it just needs to be configured.

Also, this doesn't affect you guys, but multi-language support is coming too. A French server is now testing the RP plugin, and a German one might come online soon as well. They needed language translations so I've gotten started on that for those servers.

Sorry. But it is necessary. There is no way of that not happening. At this point the switch is almost complete. I did a little test run this morning and had some pretty good results. At the same time I seriously doubt that a majority of players legitimately got their weapons. I am of the opinion that plugin problems and errors have flooded the server with guns.

Capsfan, sorry bro, but u gotta understand, the server is still new. It's only a few months old.

This is a one of a kind server, so the development takes progress. Right now we may have ran into a bump in the road along the way and have to start from scratch again, but this opens up a gate to a better server. And better game quality since less glitching will occur.

I played a game called Shattered Galaxy by Nexon, it was one of the first MMORPG's out there, and i played from beta (Phase 1 - Phase 6) up through the release..each phase we had our levels, money, and units lost...It sucked but if its fun playing its worth it...

Oh by the way nat, I don't know if you this..but if you are rogue/renegade, make money printers, then join CT like mayor or police chief you get a ton more money because your printers are still active....
