Flame Thrower

Umm I added a flamethrower to ZM. You get 6 shots with it. If you get zombied, it will no longer work, but people who !zspawn can use it. So can the first zombie.

Anyway, it sets your opponents on fire for a few seconds and slows them down. To use it:

bind key sm_flame

where key can be any key... Example:

bind Alt sm_flame

Press Alt to use it. Please don't use !flame as that floods chat. If there is massive team killing and abuse I will remove it. Also, if people hate it then it can be taken off in that case as well. Give it a week or so and tell me what y'all think.

ZOMBIE BAR-B-QUE ANYONE ????? LOL THANKS NAT i'm sure i't'll get used but i wouldn't flash it allover ther server as that would be asking for trouble maybe keep it o0n the down low for admins and regs ONLY !!

I dont like it! When im in my sweet super camping spot all safe i get BBQ'd!! Its more embarrassing than a barrel roll!! Just because zombies fail dont mean they have to resort to the "flame thrower". I say get rid of it or at least make it for admins only to torture baddies(tubers/venters).

like i said in earlier post there's way to much potential for it to be over used and over abused and at least the barrel roll ya have to earn those credits by either killing a human or a zombie and it takes real effort and skill to achieve and you only get one shot at it not six

just a thought maybe if not for only admins and regs maybe put it on a point system like the barrel roll and take out that STUPID ASS BEDFRAME just a idea make ppl earn it ( if ya earn it your more likely to treasure it )

I agree with Kami, people are bound to abuse it. If your good like me, you shouldnt even need it. When i see someone use i usually "lol". But when its turned on me it gets annoying because half the zombies that use it, use the !zspawn bug. I find it highly unnecessary.

There's gotta be a way to negate the !zspawn bug... D: But people can only use !zspawn one time per map unless they rejoin. If they constantly rejoin, kick them for abuse.

Ok. I already warn the players that the first Zombie should be the ONLY zombie using it.

Here's my thoughts on it...

I rarely use it, and as a zombie it's if the person or group of people are in a stupid firewall spot and you can't get them. Like that flobts map behind the armory door, I find it useful when there's 6 humans in there. The only reason I had it was because when I joined it was after everyone spawned so I !zspawn'd.

I've seen it abused, on others and on me and it's starting to make me mad that THE SAME people who yelled at me for using it are now using it for the stupidest things. They didn't want to jump over my dryer (not in a doorway, in a wide open space) so they bbq'd me. Oh and before they flamed me to death I got barrel rolled by Arisu because the zombies were too lazy to double up side by side or even try to get to me.

It was fun when I first found out how to use it, now it's just a pointless abused plaything. I say get rid of it or have only admins able to use it.

Kami suggested I add an anti-rejoin script to the server, so I'll do that and it should stop the abuse.
