I was banned, but I didn't break any rules

On 1-11-09 in the evening I was playing CS:S on your zm server when all of a sudden the screen said kicked and banned. I tried to get in and it let me in. I asked the admin why I was kicked and he said that it was because I had a gay porn spray. I told him that I do not have a gay porn spray and that I have not changed my spray from when I first got the game and that spray was one supplied with CS:S, I also said that it might have been a Korean player that was following my around and putting his spray up, but I didn't pay attention to what it was . I was kicked and banned for good this time. Your server is my favorite one and I believe that I should not have been banned. If I did have those sprays I would oblige with the admin and not complain. I did not cheat, use gay porn sprays, or break any other rules. My steam id is STEAM_0:01655800112 and my name in CS:S is Dr Pepper(when I was banned is also had the Noob Unlimited tag)

I checked the ban list. You were not banned for a gay porn spray. You were banned by KAC, an anti-cheat plugin. However, there are some issues with the plugin I need to look into. I will keep you posted.

Random he wasn't banned by KAC. The ban code says he was banned by my anti-cheat plugin for having sv_cheats overrided on his computer to be 1. He was hacking.




Ban codes are listed as Reason. For this ban it was:

NsAC-SVCheats

NsAC means it was my anti-cheat plugin. Mine will ban for three things:

sv_cheats
sv_consistency
unconnected

For sv_cheats, it detects if the server is sv_cheats 1 or 0. If 0, then it will ban players who have a hack that forces it to 1 for them.

For sv_consistency, it detects the server's value of sv_consistency. If 1, it bans people who forced it to 0.

Unconnected means they hacked their player name, so it banned them for it.




If it says something like this:

VAC-Ban-Detected-Cheats-#ATC561413

The VAC-Ban-Detected means it is a KAC ban. I don't know all the possible reasons KAC will ban someone, but it lists the reason before the #ATC561413. I don't think ZM has my modified KAC enabled right now.

there are no issues with KAC random even if people try to tell you there are. i for a fact know that if the client sends back 1 instead of the servers notifiction of 0 then there is something other then the truth going on.

uhh I was just gonna say that I was looking at the KAC page and it said not to use it with no-steam servers... And the reason I said it was KAC is because it said so on the SMBans. My bad...

Well if you weren't cheating then you're gonna need to give me qa pretty good explanation why sv_cheats was set to 1 on your computer.

i'm bored, its early, so i'm reading forums......i don't know dr.pepper, but my 2 cents is that....dude....your ass is busted!!!!! time for you to run down to wal-mart and purchase the game and start a new account......i'm no computer geek, i don't know what nat is talking about sv_cheats...etc....i just hope i don't do anything that would install this crap on my computer......i know on dust2, i have been playing with ppl for a long time, and when i see someone all of a sudden get alot better in a short amount of time...i think....hmmmm!!!!! but i do take pride in killing the ones that i know........cheat....in one way or another.....but i long to have a desire to play with a full server who can honestly say that no one is cheating.....i don't think i will ever have that opportunity....so i grit my teeth and deal with it.....kudo's to the admin's that are busting their asses to make n/u the best server possible for players like myself and others who are here to have fun and be with a great bunch of ppl....
