Revealing ZM Map Secrets.

Do we have any set rules on this?

Recently I have seen a run of certain people that have had the need to flex their epeen and sit on a pretty full maps and basically guide someone through every secret on the map over the mic.

Its just frustrating to see that happening when it took some people a long time to figure out some of these secret spots.

Yea people aren't allowed to give away secrets on maps on zm. If you see someone doing it please tell an admin, especially when it's aloud for everyone to hear

It's up to the map-maker to give permission or not in game.

Seeing as I made a quarter of the maps on ZM if I'm playing I can either decide to show u guys stuff or not. So could any other map maker if they visited our server. But otherwise it's a no-no. I mean if u go to some other server and show ur friends a secret then come back, I guess that's okay, but I don't like it being put out there for EVERYONE to know a secret, u know?

Yeah, you'll notice when nat releases a new map with secrets, she shows a few people on the server her decent secrets.

As did I with secrets galore.

But we don't say "Hey everyone look over here at this secret here!"

Bone a mapmaker and you'll know all the secrets.

Here a good way to find a secrets go youtube or Google it up!
And if you can't find it well too bad your out of luck unless you're really good at finding secrets=]

p.s. don't tell secrets cause you can get mute, burn, kick, gaged, or if need ban for spamming secrets, remember Admin have final say!!!

I hate to tell you guys this but i give away secrects and will contenue to do so. I will usually give away an easy secret that most ppl find in their sleep. If i dont i will have between 3-7 ppl follow me through out the map which ruins the game play rapidly. Most of you already know that in zm I dont like like to camp with people if they dont know how to effectively defend a baracade. So either way they learn the secrets, one is just easier on me and doesnt reveal the better secrets.

Im not talking about secrets like jumping through a wall or shooting at the ground for a hole to open up. Im talking about more sophisticated secrets that involve shooting certain buttons or pressing a sequence of buttons. Regardless, I would rather let nubs follow me or see me then tell them how to get somewhere, thats why its a secret.

Relax Sean. It's stuff like the X-Wing secret (Hardest secret in Zombie Mod ever lol) or the 999 kills on Atix Helicocksucker that we're concerned about. Shooting an invisible wall and then walking through - zm_moonlight_v2 lab for example - isn't that big of a deal.

i'm not gonna lie i give out some secrets like the petty ones or people follow me and figure em out

stuff like the x wing secret either ya know it or ya don't and besides like nat said the x wing one is probably hardest one of all between the knowing how to open the door to living past the explosions to making the hardest jump EVER to the codes and what not just to get to the damn thing than either cogbern or scabu are in front of me and block me in vent with a filing cabinet or the damn thing is cliched lol
and on ondega everyone knows most of them except the outhouse and under the porch which i keep to myself
