now ive done more then my share of research on the matter and ive even went to the extent of posting info here in the server tech section so you all can read up on how things work and how to better your configs.... have ANY of you even thought to READ a little and make educated assesments as to why your pentium 3 1.28Ghz machine isnt having good reg?


so here it is... my admin should be and better be upholding the pride in our servers and if people have issues be refering them to the forums so the can read and fix the problems.

just my thoughts and comments on an issue that i believe is the peoples fault not N/U's

I have full trust that Siosios knows how to run his servers. If he thinks the issue is server side, he'll fix or show it. If he thinks it's client side, he'll help the client resolve it.

I honestly think linux CSS servers are superior to windows. You can do much more. We're limited on the n00bsalad end due to windows.

I can only imagine a bad convo with siosios:

As I said on the Owned Radio program, Siosios probably knows more about server tech and management than anyone else. He spends a lot of time working on the back-end to make sure our servers are of the highest caliber in terms of FPS, shot registration, and latency. So basically, if you come here and your game experience is not up to par, its your own computer that you need to be checking, not N/U's servers. I mean every now and then we'll get a bug or a glitch or something like the nades being screwed up on DM, but these problems almost never have to do with the server hardware or configuration.

Just to let you know...I have a constant 40 latent rate whatever that is.
Other people have higher rates.
